In this article, I will walk you through a step-by-step process to connect your Google account, import subscribers, and export WhatsApp subscriber contacts to Google Contacts.

Connect Your Google Account to BotSailor:

First of all, we have to connect our Google account from which we want to import or add contacts to Google Contacts.

Go to BotSailor’s dashboard, select Connect Account, then select Connect Google and then click on the Sign in with Google button.

Upon clicking Sign in with Google, you will be redirected to Google. Select your Google account and click the Continue button. Grant all the requested permissions, then click Continue again. That’s all you need to do to connect your Google account to BotSailor.

Now we can import Google Contacts as WhatsApp subscribers and send WhatsApp subscribers to Google Contacts as new contacts.

Import WhatsApp Subscribers from Google Contacts:

To import WhatsApp subscribers from Google Contacts, go to Subscriber Manager, then select WhatsApp Subscriber. This will open the WhatsApp Subscriber Manager module. From the available options, select Import Subscribers.

A modal will appear where you can add a label for the imported subscribers to help with segmentation. Next, select the WhatsApp account to which you want to add the subscribers, followed by the Google account. After selecting the Google account, a few contact samples will be shown for comparison. If everything looks correct, you’ll need to map the file headers to the appropriate data fields.

Click Map Data twice to add two mapping fields: one for the Phone Number and one for the Subscriber Name. Map them accordingly based on the file headers. That’s it—then just click the Confirm button to complete the import.

Send WhatsApp Subscribers to Google Contacts:

Saving WhatsApp subscribers as contacts in Google Contacts is very easy and requires just one simple setup. You only need to select your Google account from WhatsApp Bot Manager → Configuration.

There, you’ll find an option called “Google Contacts.” Simply select your Google account from the list. That’s it—now every subscriber’s phone number and name will be automatically saved to Google as a new contact.
